"God is Ethics is a gentle and thoughtful survey of the central questions philosophers have pondered for centuries. Taking a friendly and conversational style, Mitchell Frangadakis introduces his readers to the breadth and depth of philosophical thinking. Judiciously drawing on Eastern and Western philosophical traditions, he invites us to join him on a philosophical journey, which leads us to his provocative conclusion-God is Ethics. Ultimately it is this proposition that Frangadakis wants us all to examine." Prakash Chenjeri Language, Literature & Philosophy Dept. Southern Oregon University
“At last, a clear voice! In this treasure of a book, Mitchell has skillfully given us an amazingly fresh philosophical review, from both Eastern and Western perspectives, revealing how poor philosophical understanding creates so much suffering in our lives. He introduces us to the very mind of Buddha, the mind that said that the way to freedom begins with Correct Understanding. Mitchell skillfully leads us to stand where all philosophies or religions matter, inside the proposition that "God is Ethics", not telling us what to think, but asking us simply to think. I am eternally grateful.” Roshi Jun Po Denis Kelly, Abbott, Hollow Bones Zen
